If you cant pay it off, you probably cant afford it.
I largely error on the side of caution with credit cards. In my experience, most people who have them, do not pay them off every month. In doing so, they are paying huge amounts of interest that are dragging them down financially. However, if you can pay off your credit cards monthly, then there could be some great opportunities out there. We all know having a credit card could build your credit score, but beyond that there are a few other possibilities out there!
A good frame of mind to keep when dealing with credit cards, is to use them as if you were using a debit card. Use it to pay for bills and things you have to pay for. People get in trouble when they use it for unnecessary purchases.
